I want to thank our Cherry Point Commissary and the Mess Hall for a lot of work and a great spread.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2008, Cherry Point Commissary was part of a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) wide Italian-American decorating/display contest. They took it a step further and fed a few hundred active duty and retired personnel and their families. The FREE lunch consisted of different "Bertoli" products as well as spaghetti, meat sauce, an alfredo sauce and garlic bread cooked up by Cpl Renesh Washington and Cpl Sean Davis and managed by Msgt Bobby Thomas. The commissary personnel directly responsible are Jazette Stewart (Grocery Manager), Phyllis Black (Store Director), Shirley Mitchel (Merchandiser) and Katie Thomas who is a representative of Sarvis/Unileaver who provided product.

Again, Thank you for showing your appreciation and the great lunch.
