As I’m sure you are well aware, the number of wounded troops is mounting and the toll this takes on the families as well as the Service Member is overwhelming. The sacrifices our injured Military Personnel are recognized with medals and commendations. However, the mothers and wives who arrive to be “nurses”, wide-eyed and afraid, make their own sacrifices-abandoning jobs and homes and delaying retirement to help their wounded children and husbands reclaim their lives. Bring a Soldier Home, is dedicated to helping these families continue to live and function as a complete family unit, and provide financial assistance to enable them to stay together through rehabilitation.

We are so thankful for the generosity of the area businesses and members of the community, which continue to support our brave young men and women. A young soldier once said to me “our biggest fear isn’t the Taliban; it’s that the American people back home will forget about us”. Thank you for not forgetting!!
